I happened by this place on a Sunday evening when we were looking for a chill place to drink. First of all, I absolutely love the layout and ambiance. It is casual but nice and there are seats along the perimeter that would be great for people watching during the day (which I plan to do once it's warmer out). Second of all, the cocktails are beautifully crafted. There was a nice selection, and the bartender took his time to craft them. I had the Mac and cheese croquettes as well, which were very tasty and not overly greasy or anything. Finally, this place wasn't blasting music and overall the place was at a nice volume to be able to have a conversation, which me and my husband loved. I'll definitely be back here, maybe during the day since it's in my neighborhood.

Have you ever wanted crunchy but not burnt food? If you do, go to Night Shift. One reason I LOVE Night Shift is that I get to sit at the window and see everything. One time I was waiting for my food and I saw 16 boxes while waiting for chicken fingers and mozzarella stick’s. Another reason is because of the servers and the service is awesome! For example one time I was at my table about to die and I had my food in about 5 to 7 minute’s . It was so crazy! The last and best reason is that when walk in they offer water food at the same time Yep, you heard me. This is an awesome all the time because it’s so crowded because everyone likes it. So I hope you agree with me that Night Shift is the best restaurant to go to on a cold chilly night. One more thing do you know how everything is connected to Eli ‘s so is Night Shift. Go there now! Great setting, great service, and elaborate drinks!! I’ve lived all around Manhattan and I’d say Eli’s can easily compete for a top 5 bar in the UES and one of the best all around among NYC’s casual bars. I can’t wait to try the food during the “day shift” and the “night shift” ...
True local spot with the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. It was so good I momentarily lost consciousness. When I came back to life I realized it wasn’t a dream and that the perfect gf pizza does in fact exist. In addition to the amazing pizza they have an excellent wine selection and everything is cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and the casual atmosphere was unreal.
